PlayHouzz - ExPlOrE - “AdVeNtUrE”
International Design Competition For a Play House Organized by Houzz & Sponsored by The American Institute of Architects (AIA). This Project Was Selected as The Global Winner of The PlayHouzz 2016 International Design Competition, in Which More Than 400 Contestants From Around The World Participated. The Project Was on Display at The 2016 American Institute of Architects Convention Held in Philadelphia, PA & Donated to Families Forward Philadelphia, a Shelter That Helps More Than 300 Kids in Need. Construction Materials Were Donated by Gordon & Sons & Hall Woolford Tank Company, Inc. The Prototype Was Built by Kole Made, LLC & is Currently Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“We Had The Honor of Building Edgar’s Winning PlayHouzz 2016 Global Design. There is no Need For us to Repeat That His Concept Alone Was Great, But Working With Edgar, we Were Able to See The Attention to Detail & The Thought That Went Into His Designs. Often, There Are Elements Left Without Consideration in The Build Process, But Edgar Had Thought of Many of These Things. When we Inevitably Came to Some Roadblocks With Budget & Material Availability, he Was so Willing to Listen to Suggestions & Offer up Fitting Alternatives. Edgar’s Calm, But Passionate Demeanor, Made us Excited For The Opportunity to Team up on Such a Fun Project”.
